Greetings and salutations to my fellow artists and art fans alike. My name is Katie, the mistress of madness and the walking contradiction. I am working my way through school, serious illness and the general turmoils of life, to get into comics as an artist and writer.
I will be posting fan comics, art and fiction along side my personal work. All fan work will be labelled with proper credits to the original creators/series/company.
I will be taking commissions ASAP for one-of-a-kind character and background drawings, as well as custom sketch books and orders for posters. I will also be listing tutorials here, and doing demonstration lessons and answering questions on Livestream. You can check that out here:

Firstly I MUST get this off of my chest. What the hell is going on with all of the "support/pray for Japan" pictures on DeviantArt? The idea is great, but just thinking about everything that is going on over there isn't really going to do anything. Imagine if DeviantArt chose to donate a dollar for every every one of those pictures?! Now THAT would be something. I'm just saying...
Now that's out of the way, school. Yeah... Bleh. I have left yet another program. I think that I need to deal with a bunch of things before I can really move forward. But again, I am not stopping or digging myself under a rock or anything. Hopefully I can get some

So, I left animation.... Back in September hehe. It's not such a big deal. Just some personal things and I guess, in general, it wasn't really my forte. I still love animation, but I think that we're just going to stay friends for now.
But I'm not out of school. I will be starting a new program at the same college called Introduction to Concept Art. It's mostly online and digital work, which should be a lot of fun. Plus I sort of know one of the profs already, as well as the vast majority of the other students. So overall it should be a blast. I only have two small issues. 1) Some of my classes in the first semester run until nine at night,
